Who we are and why we keep coming back to Seminyak.
Island Dream Team started with a simple, slightly chaotic idea: get a big group of friends into one villa in Bali and see what happens. Years and many trips later, we've become a small collective of group-travel obsessives — the friends everyone else texts when they're trying to organise ten people, four flights, and one holiday that doesn't end in an argument.
We are not a booking agency and we don't sell villas. We're travellers who kept making the same mistakes — the over-planned itinerary, the money that soured on day three, the room nobody wanted — until we worked out how to stop. This site is where we write it all down: the practical, unglamorous, hard-won lessons of taking a crowd to Seminyak and coming home still friends.
Our focus is deliberately narrow. We write about group and family travel to Bali, and Seminyak in particular, because it's the neighbourhood we know best and love most. From choosing a villa that suits a crowd to feeding everyone, keeping them healthy, and letting the island set the pace, we cover the things that actually make or break a group trip.
